ABOUT THE MAC

  • A contemporary, multidisciplinary facility presenting and promoting the performing and visual arts.
  • An arts center offering a series of performances, exhibitions, and cultural opportunities through both ticketed and free events.
  • A historic cultural facility transformed from the Worthington High School, built in 1915.
  • A 20,000 sq. foot building with a 213 seat theatre, gallery spaces, four classrooms, a dance studio, and a ceramics studio.
  • Continuing the legacy of the Worthington Arts Council to advocate, create, and nurture arts programming.

MAC WEATHER POLICY
In case of inclement weather, the McConnell Arts Center will close if Franklin County declares a Level Two or Level Three snow emergency. In case of class cancellation, students will receive an email from the MAC alerting them.

Dec. 22 – Jan. 2: CLOSED

RENTALS

The MAC hosts many public, private and community events.  Our theatre can be rented for concerts, performances, lectures or business meetings.  The Main Gallery is also frequently used as an event space, and can be incorporated into your event.  Our classroom spaces also work well for small meetings or workshops.  The many different rooms and spaces of the facility can be rented separately, or used together for larger events.  Pricing is based upon your schedule, and which spaces you will require.  We do offer discounted rates for non-profit and community groups.
