Lee Ann is an Ohio based artist that works with many different mediums and is constantly experimenting with new ones. She is driven by a fascination of depth, transparency, movement, texture and shadows so these elements show up in many of her works. She is inspired heavily on abstract patterns found in nature.
She leans heavily upon an intuitive creative process and is always aware of the balance between letting go of control and expectations to allow the surprise and delight of what each medium can bring in and of itself. One of her favorite things about fluid mediums like alcohol inks is the unpredictability of the results.
