We are thrilled to announce Shannon Daly (she/her) as the new Director of Operations at the McConnell Arts Center. Shannon brings a wealth of experience in managing building operations as well as special events, and we look forward to benefitting from her expertise.
Shannon been living and working in Columbus for the past six years, by way of New Jersey and Illinois. She earned her BFA in Theatre Arts from DePaul University and her MS in College Student Personnel Services from Western Illinois University. She most recently worked at The Ohio State University, spending time at the Ohio Union, then the Department of Public Safety working in event management. She has also worked in event management capacities for the Chicago Architecture Foundation, Suffolk University, and Western Illinois University.
Shannon is heavily involved in the Columbus theatre community, where she currently serves as the Board President for Imagine Productions. She has also served as a stage manager, sound board operator, actor, and more with Imagine, Gallery Players, Worthington Community Theatre, and the Contemporary Theatre of Ohio. In her spare time, she loves to listen to comedy podcasts and explore antique malls.
