Playing hits from the Great American Songbook as well as Holiday faves from the early 1960’s, these talented and seasoned members of the well known “Phil Dirt and the Dozers” band are sure to turn out another memorable show! Come enjoy the season and let the music take you back to a simpler time in America… of sharkskin suits, polaroid cameras and the whiskey sour… a time when every AM car radio played the tunes that would become the “Baby-Boomer” hits of today by Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat Cole and more.

Born in Puerto Rico, Jeremy began art studies at the Escuela Central de Artes Visuales. He holds a BFA in advertising and design from the Columbus College of Art and Design. He currently works as a VP, associate creative director at FCB Health in New York City.
Experienced creative problem solver with a demonstrated history in the design and advertising industry. Award-winning creative leader trusted by global brands in the pharmaceutical space to bring their stories to life through work that understands and connects with people.
His mission is to use creative thinking and art to help brands engage emotionally with their audiences and gain market share in innovative ways. Creativity Moves Us Forward.

Dr. Shriya Srinivasan is the disciple and daughter of Guru Sujatha Srinivasan, Artistic Director, Shri Kalaa Mandir. She has been practicing Bharathanatyam for the past 25 years and is known for her vibrant stage presence, emotive capacity and ability to blend sharp Nrtta with elegant grace. She has performed widely in the United States and India and was recently featured in the Madras Music Academy’s Midyear, Spirit of Youth, and HCL Festivals.

She co-founded the Anubhava Dance Company, comprised of first-generation Indian-American Bharathanatyam dancers and musicians, and has toured over 14 cities with her new productions, winning great acclaim. An upcoming Carnatic vocalist, passionate about Sanskrit and yoga, she brings a holistic approach to her art.She recently co-choreographed Vivarta:Transformations- an original work on environmental conservation, which premiered at the Cleveland Public Theatre for DanceWorks 2019.

Shriya is a professor at Harvard University and aims to bring current social themes to life through the beauty and pristine form of the classical Indian arts. She applies her research in biomechanics and sensory feedback to develop better practices for dancing and enabling audiences to experience and interact with the complexity of Bharathanatyam.

The Thomas Worthington High School Jazz Program will present their two jazz ensembles, Cardinal Swing, and Cardinal Jazz, live in concert on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 7:00pm at the McConnell Arts Center. Audience members will enjoy a wide variety of music including swing, bebop, funk, and more! We know our students are "jazzed" to perform for you!
