Temporary Passenger is an exhibition of art that arises from the desire to acknowledge more fully where we come from, where we belong, and how we are shaped by place.
Places of origin ground us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. When we encounter different locations and environments, they inspire and recenter us. By collecting elements from the landscape and putting them to use in our work, we hope to connect — in spite of our brief existence — to a place, a time, and a people. Our work is a spiritual map of what we value and a record of our journey. We inhabit the Earth. We live off the Earth. We return to the Earth.
