AnnMarie McCallister, Marketing and Communications Manager

AnnMarie McCallister is an Ohio native, having been born in Cleveland and moving to Central Ohio while in elementary school. AnnMarie graduated from Thomas Worthington High School, where she took art classes in the building that now houses the McConnell Arts Center.

After graduating from Baldwin-Wallace University with a BA in Arts Education and attending Columbus College of Art and Design, AnnMarie worked for the CM Media family of publications, where she was an Art Director for several award-winning magazines, including Columbus Monthly, Columbus Bride and Columbus City Guide. She has also worked for the City of Upper Arlington, helping to program and market the City’s Cultural Arts offerings including the City’s signature Labor Day Arts Festival and exhibitions in the Concourse Gallery in the City’s Municipal Services Center. AnnMarie has most recently worked with For Impact, a consulting firm dedicated to working with non-profits, to provide messaging and fundraising materials for the company’s regional, national, and global clients.

Since July 2023, AnnMarie has been the Marketing and Communication Manager for the McConnell Arts Center, utilizing her marketing and design experience to champion the work the MAC is doing to truly build pathways to experience the joy and wonder of the arts for the local community and beyond, while also helping to remove barriers to participation for groups who might not traditionally see themselves in artistic spaces. AnnMarie lives in Worthington with her family, including the family dogs Livvie and Roscoe, who pretty much run everything.
