Andrea was born and raised in Columbus, OH. She went to Otterbein for undergrad (go Cards!). She recently moved back to Ohio after living in Wichita, KS for 2 ½ years. From time to time, she will make visits to see family in Mexico. This upcoming Spring she’ll graduate with an MFA in Creative Writing from Wichita State University and have a forth coming collection of poetry she hopes to publish, first in English and then in Spanish. Her favorite poet is Emily Dickinson because of her love for animals during the 19th century. She’s most of all happy to be back home and surrounded by the arts and hopes to continue to meet all the kind-hearted people who contribute to the MAC and make it the wonderful place it is.
