This fun and imaginative camp introduces campers to the magic of storytelling through myths, fairy tales, and folk tales from around the world. Through lively storytelling sessions, games, and creative exercises, campers will learn how these age-old stories are crafted and how they can create their own enchanting tales. Campers will discover exciting characters like brave heroes, clever animals, and wise old sages, and explore key story elements such as adventure, magic, and important lessons. Through guided activities, campers will practice their own storytelling skills, making up their own stories and drawing inspiration from mythical creatures, magical lands, and heroic journeys. They’ll also explore the ways stories can have a deeper meaning and how to use their imagination to create their own unique worlds. By the end of the week, campers will not only understand the basics of storytelling but will also feel confident in creating and sharing their own stories, inspired by the magical and timeless world of myths, fairy tales, and folk tales.
