As a 2024 graduate from the Columbus College of Art and Design, Lucy (she/they) utilizes their BFA in Comics and Narrative Practice to create entertaining classes for kids and adults alike. Lucy’s visual artwork is inspired by historical art, queer culture, and the intricacies of textiles. Their creations range from illustrations and longform comics to quilting and code-based creative writing. While Lucy’s work is posted online, it can also be found in featured installations at the Center of Science and Industry, as well as in publications such as the Spitball Anthology and Botticelli Magazine.
Originally from Peoria, Illinois, Lucy seeks to embrace their new Columbus arts community through indie publication and educational spaces. When they aren’t creating rosters and organizing supplies, Lucy can be found at comics and narrative events, like Cartoon Crossroads or Small Press Expo.
