Lisa Ferraro brings her acclaimed Jazz Up the Holidays back to Columbus to celebrate the 20th anniversary! Over the span of 20 years, this show has toured the country and has been a favorite on the performing arts on tour roster.
Benefiting non-profit SoulCall Global, Jazz Up the Holidays will be both LIVE and in VIRTUAL CONCERT this year. All proceeds benefit the “Soulcall Santa” food and gifts drive to assist families and individuals in need of support this season. This show is fun for kids from 1 to 92! Santa and Mrs. Claus will be flying in from the North Pole!
Join us for this internationally acclaimed show and Billboard-charting jazz vocalist Lisa Ferraro as she serves up the holiday classics in swinging style. With arrangements by Grammy-winning composer and arranger Mike Tomaro, who also plays woodwinds. A stellar band of jazz luminaries, featuring the amazing Max Leake, Kurt Lorence, Bob Matchett, David Glover, and JD Chaison, is sure to lift your spirits and ring in the season of Light, Peace, and Love.

Acclaimed vocalist Lisa Ferraro has a reputation as both a teller of stories and an interpreter of song, which she proves in crystal clear fashion every time she takes the stage. Lisa’s flawless intonation and marvelous phrasing are matched with a distinctive voice that is exciting, soulful, full-bodied, and warm. Her subtle variations on the melodies transform songs without ever undermining the composers’ intentions, and in the classic tradition of jazz storytellers, she shapes the lyrics in a way that gives them a meaning even deeper than the words themselves. Her latest jazz recording, Serenading the Moon, charted on the Billboard Jazz charts and is a collaboration with some of the finest players on the jazz scene today: legendary saxophonist Houston Person, Lewis Nash on drums, and Ray Drummond on bass.
A native of Pittsburgh, PA Lisa grew up in the rich jazz tradition of that recognizable style! She records and works with many of the homegrown greats, such as Roger Humphries, Mike Tomaro, Marty Ashby and MCG Jazz, Max Leake, and Dwayne Dolphin, to name a few.
Lisa has recorded 12 recordings to date, and tours internationally.

Lisa currently resides in Columbus, OH. She is also a vocal coach and an international speaker, meditation leader, retreat facilitator, mindfulness coach, and life coach. She shares her inspired jazz vocal performances internationally, and is in collaboration with the incredibly talented Natalia Zukerman as the duo SeekHer7.
Recognized for her ability to work with the subtle energies of music and vibrational space, Lisa serves as a music minister and band leader for inspirational events nationally and internationally.
Lisa recently launched an online inspirational platform called SoulCall™ Global, a non-profit she founded in 1999 and brought to fruition with the late Erika Luckett.
This platform is designed to spark contemplation, meditation, creativity, and connection with the spirit of all creation inherent in the Soul of every being.
