For centuries, people utilized botanicals to create lasting color on cloth. Try your hand at natural dyeing as you learn about the basics, including extracting color from plant materials and prepping and dyeing natural fabrics. Participants will experiment with different types of dye on animal (protein) fabric, such as silk or wool, and plant (cellulose) fibers, such as cotton, during this two-session workshop.
