The Harding-Buller Foundation of Worthington Presents: The 4th & 5th Grade Poster Competition on Positive Mental Health

The Harding-Buller Foundation of Worthington is proud to host the 4th and 5th Grade Poster Competition on Positive Mental Health, a creative contest designed to encourage young students to express their understanding of mental well-being through art.

This competition aims to inspire students to explore and illustrate ways to maintain positive mental health, emphasizing awareness, self-care, and emotional well-being.

How It Works:

  • Students will create an original piece of art that represents their perspective on positive mental health.
  • Each participant will upload a 2-to-3-minute video on Flipgrid.com to explain their artistic choice and the message behind their work.
  • Entries will be judged on visual presentation, messaging, timing, and overall impact.

Live Presentations & Awards:

  • The top three 4th graders and top three 5th graders will be selected to present their artwork live at the McConnell Arts Center.
  • A panel of judges will rank these finalists first through third place, with each receiving a cash prize.

This competition is designed to help students build emotional awareness and healthy coping skills, empowering them to recognize and manage feelings of stress, anxiety, and challenges in a positive way.

We can’t wait to see the creativity and insight from our young artists!
