December 7, 2011Our FREE Monthly open house (Art off the Square) where you can come in and get a taste of all the MAC has to offer.
Are you aware of the sexual trafficking and human slavery that is rampant in Ohio? Have you heard of Rahab’s Hideaway? How about Jericho’s, or The Garden of Street-Free Ministries? Come see how art can bring diverse people together in humane ways to help. Marlene Carson, director of Rahab’s and an emerging voice for these women, will be speaking from 3-3:30. See a student installation of shoes painted white that represent the women who are being rescued and experiencing new lives. The Exile Poster Project will also be on display. These Portland, Oregon designers have come together to raise awareness of the plight of the children who have been stolen.
