Ustad Shafaat Kahn World Music Workshop
September 15, 2011Join us for a rare workshop with the world renowned Classical Indian musician Shafaat Kahn. In the rich history of Indian Classical music, Mr. Khan has distinguished himself by being the first known artist to have attained simultaneous excellence in performing the sitar, surbuhar and tabla. He will be holding a lecture and demonstration with his sitar and tabla, discussing history, technique and the rich Indian culture. You are welcome to bring an instrument to be played at the end of the lecture.
